As I mentioned at our first meeting this year, I have built this blog to help distribute useful information to our club members. Please take a look around and if you have anything you would like to add (i.e. abstracts, etc.) please send it my way and I will be happy to put it up.
Also, if anyone would like to volunteer to lead a discussion and/or offer your home for a meeting, please contact Sean Ferrier-Watson (the VP) or me.
One more thing: this is all about professional development, and my one word of advice off the bat is to start attending conferences and sending out pieces for publication as soon as possible. If you have not visited UPenn (run by the University of Pennsylvania Department of English), you need to make this link a favorite on your browser: http://call-for-papers.sas.upenn.edu/. There are other places to look (in particular, MLA's database), but you'll need to be a member to get access.
